Ertegun Graduate Scholarship Program for Ertegun Scholars at Oxford
Established in 2012, the Mica and Ahmet Ertegun Graduate Scholarship program supports full-time graduate students who apply for various subjects in the Humanities. The Ertegun Scholarship program is tenable at Oxford where students, invariably reach their potential once they graduate. The scholarship covers 100% of the university and college fees and a grant for living costs worth up to £14,553. At least 10 awardees will be offered the Ertegun scholarship made for the full duration of their fee liability for the agreed course.
Students who become Ertegun Scholars will have the possibility to benefit from exclusive use of Ertegun House which is a full-modernized building which dates back in 1808, being located at the heart of Oxford’s academic community. The beautiful Ertegun House delivers an outstanding academic environment that is unique at Oxford and incomparable with any other institution in the world. Here students will have the chance to dedicate their time to writing, participating in social occasions and lively lectures, performances, and other activities developed precisely for Ertegun Scholars.
In order to be considered, students must apply for a full-time graduate course at Oxford, precisely a Humanities course within the following facilities which can be accessed here /https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate/fees-and-funding/fees-funding-and-scholarship-search/ertegun-graduate-scholarship-programme-humanities at the “eligibility” section. The Ertegun Scholarship will be awarded based on the basis of academic merit considering also the Ertegun supporting statement form. How can one apply for this scholarship? In order to be considered for this scholarship, students must select “Mica and Ahmet Ertegun Ph.D scholarship in the Humanities” in the University of Oxford scholarships section of the University’s graduate application form and submit their application for graduate study considering the January deadline for their course. Additionally, students must complete an Ertegun supporting statement (see related documents on this page) and upload it, together with a graduate application form by the deadline.
In order to be considered for this scholarship, applicants must be successful in being offered a place on their course after consideration of applications received by the relevant closing date for the course.
