$500-2,000$ Scholarships with Mel and Marty Zajac Memorial Grants

The Mel & Marty Zjac Scholarship was established in 1987 and is intended to aid students who want to pursue an undergraduate degree in the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University (ASU)

Applicants have time by Friday, September 15, 2017 to submit their applications for the 2017/2018 academic year. Applications are available through the website found here. To apply for the student grant, prospective candidates will need to register an account with ASU’s official website.

Further criteria outlining whether a candidate conforms to the prerequisites, include whether the applicant is enrolled as a regular student of the School as either a Junior or Senior student in any one degree program.

As with most scholarships at the University of Arizona, enrolled students must commit to at least 12 hours of grade-level work each semester to ensure that their overall stay with the university will blossom into meaningful, real-word results, regardless of the degree program they choose.

The successful candidate would be expected to have an overall GPA score of 3.0 in order to be considered for renewal. Grades are updated every December so that recipients of the student grants may be considered for continuance. If students uphold their good performances throughout the semester, they may apply for renewal of their student grants for the spring and be entitled for funding in the spring.

In order to determine who qualifies for the money, the shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview in October so that the donor may decide who will be the recipient of the student grant. More details will be available at a later date.

If applicants have any queries, they may direct them at Barbara Parkinson from W.P. Carey School of Business Undergraduate. Applicants may visit her profile on the university’s website, or simply opt for the scholarships overview here. Ms. Parkinson can be reached at [email protected].

The W.P. Carey School of Business is one of the largest business institutions of higher education in the United States. It is part of the Arizona State University and the university offers a variety of degrees and online scholarships for degree programs. The university has made its scholarships and the documentation needed to apply for those easily accessible at the website’s section dedicated to student grants. A careful perusal reveals ample opportunity for students who want to pursue their studies. The clear-cut and straightforward rules further facilitate the application process.
