Carleton Capital Scholarships at Carleton University

The University is awarding the Carleton Capital Scholarships to up to 13 students with one receipt for each province and territory, to receive a $2000 awards in their first year. To be considered, students must be protected persons entering the first year of any undergraduate degree program and pursuing post-secondary studies for the first time, Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Additionally, students must also demonstrate participation in extra-curricular activities and a strong academic background, with a minimum admission average of 90%.

Prestige Scholarships are the highest awards offered by the university. The Prestige scholarships enclose:
- 10 Chancellor’s Scholarships
- 7 Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarships
- 3 Carleton University Scholarships of Excellence
- 2 Carleton University Shad Valley Scholarships of Excellence
- 1 Riordon Scholarship
- 1 Collins Prestige Scholarship.
In order to be considered for a Prestige Scholarship, students must be entering Carleton for the first time from high school or CEGEP and have no previous attendance at post-secondary educational institutions. In order to be considered eligible, students will need an admission average of 90%. The selection committee will assess also the range of the secondary and community school activities of the participants.
