There are many variables involved in whether a person attends college and one of them is whether you should apply for an associate degree online or offline as opposed to a full four-year degree program. Furthermore, candidates are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in order to be considered for the grant, as well as meet DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) or TPS (Temporary Protected Status) edibility criteria.

The applicant is also required to write two essays (600 words or less) in which they talk about:

1. Career goals
2. Challenging circumstances they had to overcome in life and how they conquered them

The deadline for this application is March 8 each year, so you have plenty of time to send in the requested documents.

Bear in mind that TheDream.US also offers a scholarship opportunity for students pursuing bachelor degrees which is worth $25,000. The grant is awarded on an annual basis.
