Fully Funded Eni Scholarships – a Rich Experience for African Students Learning at Oxford

Amazing news for students from Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, and the Republic of the Congo! Saint Antony’s College, University of Oxford, in partnership with Eni, the International integrated energy company, is awarding up to three prizes from students residing in one of the mentioned countries. What is so amazing at being an Oxford student with a fully funded degree? The statement speaks for itself! Not only the lucky winners will have the chance to learn at one of the oldest universities in an English-speaking country but they will be fully supported financially.

Eni Scholarships will permit Saint Antony’s to admit up to three of the best and brilliant African students adding immeasurably to the diverse and intellectual character of the College. The College and Eni Company are determined to provide encouragement and structured incentives for Eni scholars so that they will continue their studies or find employment in their countries after finishing their studies at Oxford.

Who is eligible to apply for the Eni scholarships? As mentioned above, the scholarships are open for citizens residing in Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, and the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville). Priority will have students whose first degree is from an African University. The scholarships are merit and financial need based. Preference will be given to applicants who have clear ambitions to use their knowledge to benefit their countries after graduation.

It is important that students ensure they meet the requirements for entry of the chosen course, including English Language Requirements. Students can check here the University’s course guide https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate/applying-to-oxford/application-guide?wssl=1#content-tab–3

Applicants must apply for admission to one of the following eligible courses: MSc African Studies, MSc Economic & Social History, MSc Economics for Development, and MSc Global Governance and Diplomacy. Students will find more about the admission requirements for each of them here https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate/colleges/st-antonys-college?wssl=1#content-tab–2

Eni Scholarships cover 100% of the University and college fees, and a generous annual grant for living valued at £14,553 for 12 month courses and £10,915 for 9 month courses. The stipend for courses with different durations will be adjusted accordingly.

How students can apply? First of all, students must read the info carefully and then apply online for one of the eligible courses which can be found here https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate/colleges/st-antonys-college?wssl=1#content-tab–2.
